Today, Premium Bandai announced that they will be releasing an Ultra Replica Ultra Zero Eye & Ultra Zero Bracelet set. This release is another addition within the Ultraman Zero 10th Anniversary campaign being produced by Tsuburaya Production and Bandai. For those unaware, the character is the son of Ultraseven, who made his debut in Mega Monster Battle: Ultra Galaxy Legends. Ultraman Zero became an instant fan-favorite hero, and eventually he received his own films, mini-series and guest appearances in other productions.
Now, this Ultra Replica set is based on the character’s transformation devices seen in Ultraman Zero: The Revenge of Belial. In the film, Ultraman Zero links with a human host, Run (Yu Koyanagi) to heal the man’s injuries and conserve his energy. The Ultra Zero Eye is the main functional transformation device, based off of his father’s Ultra Eye. Yet, unlike the original Ultra Eye, the Ultra Zero Eye can fold up to become a pistol for protection. Whereas, the Ultra Zero Bracelet hosts the Ultra Zero Eye, and Zero’s reserved energy to transform three times within an alternate universe. However, when Zero is in his true form, the Ultra Bracelet can become or summon weapons like Ultraman Jack’s Ultra Bracelet.
The Ultra Replica set is being promoted for being 3D scanned and design via the original props used in the film. Each item within the set will feature LED lights and sounds. In addition, the Ultra Replica Ultra Zero Eye will feature new edit and re-recorded lines from Ultraman Zero’s voice actor, Mamoru Miyano. Furthermore, other sounds include songs and BGM tracks from Ultraman Zero’s appearance. Also, the set will contain display pedestals. Nevertheless, below is the official gallery from Bandai and translations of the music included:
Song & BMG Tracks:
- Susume (Go Forth), Ultraman Zero
- Ultraman Zero Gaiden OP: Dream Fighter
- Ultraman Zero Theme
- Susume (Go Forth), Ultimate Zero Force
Pre-orders for the Ultra Replica Ultra Zero Eye & Ultra Zero Bracelet set are currently open on Premium Bandai. The set is priced at 10,780 yen, with intend release scheduled for November 2020.
