Entertainment Weekly has posted new official images for the Haslab campaign for The Vintage Collection Jabba’s Sail Barge (The Khetanna). For those who are unaware, Hasbro revealed the Haslab campaign during New York Comic Con 2018 where fans get to fund a special item based on their properties. The first item in the campaign is The Vintage Collection Jabba’s Sail Barge.
The Barge will include a new version of Jabba the Hutt and now will include a special version of the The Vintage Collection Yakface. The figure will be released on a standard Return of the Jedi card at retail. however the version of the figure that will be released with barge will be packaged on a “Power of the Force Card.” As a nod to the figures released during the Power of the Force line, the figure will include a collector’s coin. Seeing as this version of the figure was not released in the United States during the line’s initial run it should be quite a treat to see this released.
If the campaign succeeds, the Sail Barge will be sold exclusively for backers priced at $499.99, and will be released on the estimated date of February 28, 2019.
The Haslab campaign will run until 11:59 EST on April 3, 2018.
