On Friday, Bandai Namco released the trailer for One-Punch Man season two which is set to release in April 2019. The new season will feature Hikaru Midorikawa (Mobile Suit Gundam Wing’s Heero Yuy & Gridman) joining the cast as the hero hunter, Garou.

Now, the second season will feature the first season cast reprising their roles and JAM Project returning to perform a new them song. In addition, returning staff includes character designer Chikashi Kubota (FLCL 2), Tomohiro Suzuki (Saint Seiya: Legend of Sanctuary & Double Decker! Doug & Kirill) in charge of series composition, and Makoto Miyazaki (Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans) as series composer. However, the first season director Shingo Natsume has been replaced by Naruto Shippuden director, Chikara Sakurai. Furthermore, J.C. Staff has taken over animating the series instead of Madhouse (original Beyblade trilogy, Cardcaptor Sakura, Death Note).
