The official Japanese Pokémon Youtube channel has updated with the first trailer for Pokémon the Movie: Mewtwo Strikes Back Evolution. For those who are not aware, the film is a remake of Pokémon: The First Movie: Mewtwo Strikes Back or simply Pokémon: The First Movie as it is known internationally. The film is also the 22nd overall film in the Pokémon franchise.

The trailer features a quick look at Mewtwo’s design in the film and according to Serebii, the film is stated to be a full CG film.
Pokémon the Movie: Mewtwo Strikes Back Evolution will be released in Japanese theaters on July 12, 2019.
