Earlier this morning, the Pokémon Company presented a special Pokémon presentation titled, “Pokémon Presents.” Before the event it was unknown exactly what this event will entail.
The presentation revealed a few new interesting projects. The first project unveiled was a new app called “Pokémon Smile,” which seems to be a app for helping kids brush their teeth. The second app revealed is known as “Pokémon Café Mix,” which is a new puzzle game. The app will be available for preorder today and will be a free to start title. The app will be available on both Nintendo Switch and mobile devices. The next project revealed is a long awaited sequel to Pokémon Snap. For those who are not aware, Pokémon Snap was a first-person rail shooter and simulation video game co-developed by HAL Laboratory and Pax Softnica and published by Nintendo for the Nintendo 64. The game was released in 1999. The sequel will be titled, “New Pokémon Snap,” and will be released on the Nintendo Switch. No other details about the title was revealed at this time.
The Pokémon Company also revealed that Pokémon Go will be receiving a few updates. The first update will bring Pokémon Go Fest digitally. Previously Pokémon Go Fest took place at specific locations in the world, however this year it will be available digitally. The second update will bring Mega Evolutions to the game. Moving from Pokémon Go to Pokémon Sword and Shield. It has been revealed that Zeraora will be appearing in Max Raids. It has also been revealed that if 1 million players win this particular Max Raid then shiny variants of Zeraora will also be available. The Zeraora Max Raid event will be held starting today and will end on June 28 PDT. Lastly, it has been revealed that more updates will be shown during another Pokémon Presents event that will be held on June 24.
