The official Pokémon Youtube channel has updated with a new trailer for Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield. The latest trailer features a look at some new Pokémon species as well as taking a look at Gigantamaxing. Unlike Dynamaxing, Gigantamaxing will not only grant Pokémon new powers/size, but will also change the appearance of them.
The newly announced Pokémon include:
- Alcremie
Type: Fairy
Ability: Sweet Veil - Yamper
Type: Electric
Ability: Ball Fetch - Rolycoly
Type: Rock
Ability: Steam Engine/Heatproof - Duraludon
Type: Steel/Dragon
Ability: Light Metal/Heavy Metal
Additionally the trailer featured a two game exclusive gym leaders.
The revealed gym leaders include:
- Bea – Fighting Type Gym (Exclusive to Pokémon Sword)
- Allister – Ghost Type Gym (Exclusive to Pokémon Shield)
Nintendo of America also provided new details for the release of the game. Those who purchase the Double Pack will also receive special items called the Dynamax Crystals. These can be used to fight against Dynamaxed Larvitar and Jangmo-O in Max Raid Battles. Those who purchase the games digitally will receive 12 Quick Balls.

Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield will be released on November 15.
