Hello there Hero-Club, ZeltraxMillennium here, reporting on this new update, as we are now eligible for Power Rangers press releases. After contacting the Power Rangers FaceBook page, they sent me a contact form to apply and they quickly accepted us. Now, Hasbro sent us the following press release earlier today for the Lightning Collection Mighty Morphin Alien Rangers 5-Pack. For those unaware, Alien Rangers was a mini-series associated with the third season of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers. Originally, most people included the Alien Rangers within MMPR rather than being its own season, but that opinion has since changed.
Also, its production was mostly to get a head start on Power Ranger Zeo, while continuing to adapt Ninja Sentai Kakuranger. Specifically, the footage for Alien Rangers used the Kakuranger suits, and the Jusho Fighter (Battleborg) mecha fights. Whereas, the Rangers themselves were obviously aliens, but from the water filled planet called Aquitar. Surprisingly, the characters became very beloved by fans, and the team managed to reappear throughout Zeo. Thankfully, Saban was smart enough to capitalize on the Super Sentai Versus film, so we got to see them team-up too!
