In addition to the previously reported news on Rider Time: Kamen Rider Shinobi spin-off, Toei unveiled new details for the Rider Time: Kamen Rider Ryuki spin-off. Also reported earlier, the spin-off will feature the return of Takamasa Suga who will playing Shinji Kido/Kamen Rider Ryuki once again. So Okuno and Gaku Oshia will also be appearing the special portraying Kamen Rider Zi-O (Sougo Tokiwa) and Kamen Rider Geiz (Geiz Myoukin), respectively. The special will be directed by Takayuki Shibasaki and written by Toshiki Inoue.
First, new cast members were revealed, which includes several returning cast members.
The newly announced cast members include:
- Satoshi Matsuda: Renn Akiyama/ Kamen Rider Knight
- Takashi Hagino: Takeshi Asakura/ Kamen Rider Ouja
- Satoshi Ichijo: Jun Shibaura/ Kamen Rider Gai
- Hassei Takano: Miyuki Tezuka/ Kamen Rider Raia
- Tomohisa Yuge: Goro Yura
- Daichi Yamaguchi: TBD
- Ryo Shinoda: TBD
- Kento Nakajima: TBD
- Ken Sugawara: TBD
- Maya Ura: TBD
- Shin Ishida: TBD
Next, some synopsis details were revealed.
The special will focus on a new battle royale, which will feature the return of several past riders from Kamen Rider Ryuki and some new Kamen Riders. It is stated that Mayu Ura and Shun Ishida’s characters will be holding a key role in the story of the special.
Thirdly a preview for the special was posted to the official Kamen Rider Zi-O twitter page.

Fourthly, some new screenshots for the special were revealed.
Finally, the airing schedule for the three part spin-off was revealed. The first episode will premiere on the Toei Tokusatsu Fan Club (TTFC) and Video Pass on March 31. The second episode will premiere on both services on April 7, while the final episode will premiere exclusively on VideoPass on April 14.
