Hero Club is proud to present the Final Fantasy Retrospective hosted by me, RRPG; a series I began nearly two years ago on my personal YouTube Channel. In Episode 2, I take a look at the next, two entries within the Famicom trilogy as Final Fantasy II became a drastic departure of the first game which did not become very receptive between the press, or the public. Following the second installment, Hironobu Sakaguchi took the best qualities of its predecessors to create the best outing on the 8-bit home console with Final Fantasy III. The second game came out a day before the first game’s anniversary in December 1988, whereas the third installment took a little more time and polish as it would release two years later in April 1990.
