Octopath Traveler looks to be an amalgamation of both Final Fantasy with its job class system and SaGa Frontier with multiple main protagonists to choose from. Seen as what could be a sleeper, or a smash hit for both Nintendo and Square Enix, Octopath Traveler looks to satisfy the appetite of those who enjoyed Japanese role-playing games during the 16-bit and 32-bit eras in gaming. Since there are a few more months until the game’s launch in the West, new details are still coming out leading up to its release. Surprisingly, we learn about two characters who we do not know much about, as well as learning more about the progression system and what it all entails in the overall gameplay. If one likes old-school JRPGs, then one may want to watch and listen on what all new was announced that I discuss in this installment of RRPG Side-Quests!
