RRPG’s Final Fantasy Retrospective – Episode 1 Final Fantasy I

Hero Club is proud to present the Final Fantasy Retrospective hosted by me, RRPG; a series I began nearly two years ago on my personal YouTube Channel. In Episode 1, I take a look at the very first game that kick-started this iconic franchise, Final Fantasy I. Series creator, Hironobu Sakaguchi, intended to make a RPG for years before Square Enix gave him the chance. However, when the time came to being Sakaguchi’s dream project, he alongside his friend, Nobuo Uematsu (series composer), and newly hired concept artist, Yoshitaka Amano were ready to tackle the task head-on! Nearly a year after getting the go head to begin production the first Final Fantasy game released in December of 1987.
