SDCC 2019: Russo Brothers Studio Adapting Gatchaman

Happy Friday heroes! Today, we have learned from the Joe and Anthony Russo brothers panel at San Diego Comic-Con that their AGBO Studios is developing an adaptation of Gatchaman. Right now we are unsure as to whether or not it will be live-action or an animation adaption. However, going by the panel itself, the Russos have said if they direct, it would be a live-action adaptation. I am not too familiar with Gatchaman myself, and I might have to leave that to Soundout or Wheelchair21, but I am interested in their studio giving it a go. I mean it is a classic anime series I feel as though I can at least say that. Fans can see it being homages in a few cartoons, one I remember is Megas XLR, and another being Teen Titans. In addition, the series was homaged when Toei produced Chojin Sentai Jetman, so this show has a cultural impact and I am looking forward to seeing what they will do with this adaptation.
