The official Sailor Moon website has updated with the announcement that the next season Sailor Moon Crystal is currently in production. No other details are confirmed at this time so stay tuned for updates.
The website also revealed that the original anime series along with Sailor Moon R and the three movies will be released on Blu-ray. Two Blu-ray sets are currently confirmed, which will include 23 episodes each. The first set will be released on June 14 and the second will be released on August 9. The releases will feature an HD “upconversion” of the series. The first prints of the sets will include a bonus cover sleeve.
