The biggest news of the night was this one right here; Blade is coming back to the big screen with Mahershala Ali playing our titular hero! Now, I have said this before, that Blade needed a comeback and this is a big way to do it. Many fans credit the first Blade film for getting the population hooked on superhero films. Well at that time it was more Blade killing vampires, but regardless it was one of Marvel’s first comic book movies that were successful at that time. So, nothing but respect for Blade and I am looking forward to seeing some people try to ‘ice skate uphill.’
Now, we do not know the date or cast for the film, as this was just the premiere announcement. Along with Blade we have learned that Captain Marvel 2, Black Panther 2, and GoTG 3 should be coming out in the near future. Whereas, X-Men and The Fantastic Four are in development, so those two along with Blade might kick off phase five for us and I could not be happier.
