Happy Monday heroes, we have some news coming out of the Sonic The Hedgehog domain. We have our first look at the blue speedster live-action film and it’s something. A big thank you to IGN for posting the motion poster on their Instagram.

Given the interview attached to the IGN article. I’ll say they did their best with trying to bring Sonic to the live-action realm. It can’t be easy to do such a thing with Sonic but here were folks. To quote a bit from that interview when it comes to Sonic and his abilities.
““The first thing you need to do is put limits on it. If you can do anything, nothing is special. For me, it’s always about keeping it grounded and keeping it realistic,” said Miller. “We had some time to figure out the speed: What it looks like, what it feels like for a character to do that and how it relates to our world. It took a little trial and error, but that’s animation in figuring out what the effect looks like and what it does to the rest of the world around it. The speed changes over time because he evolves, because he can’t do everything at the beginning of the movie. It’s finding the visual language and figuring out how it’s going to evolve over time.”
Overall, Sonic will be speeding into theaters November 8, 2019. I think I’m going to wait until I see a trailer before writing this one off. Until the next news post, I’m XBen3000 and I’m out!
