Recently Star Wars Celebration 2019 is been conducting in Chicago, Illinois where they unveiled the first teaser trailer for Star Wars Episode IX. The trailer features a sneak peak at the main cast as well as revealing some of the locales that will be appear in the film. The trailer also revealed the name of the film, which will be known as Star Wars Episode IX: The Rise of Skywalker. Star Wars Episode IX: The Rise of Skywalker will premiere in theaters on December 20, 2019.

Well that sure was a ride getting to this point. After months of speculation we finally have the title for the “final chapter” in the Skywalker Saga. The name is pretty crazy and it is going to be insane to see how this will turn out. It is interesting to see Rey’s lightsaber has been repaired and hopefully there will be a good explanation as to how it was repaired.
