The official Star Wars Youtube channel has updated with a trailer for Star Wars: Visions. For those who are not aware, the series is an anthology of animated short films created by Japanese anime creators. The series was first unveiled during the 2020 Disney Investor’s Day live-stream. According to the details revealed on that day the series will consist of 12 episodes. Star Wars: Visions will premiere on Disney+ on September 22.
The overall setting of this series was intriguing to me since it was first announced last year. The idea of anthology of short Star Wars films from various Japanese creators was already quite the interesting idea for me. Looking at the trailer I can see that the animation styles look amazing and I can not wait to see the series once it releases on Disney+ in September.
