Deadline has reported that Steve Agee will be the joining the cast of The Suicide Squad as King Shark. Earlier it was reported that Michael Rooker would be portraying King Shark, however it has since been debunked.
In the comics Nanaue was created by Karl Kesel and made a cameo appearance in Superboy vol. 3 Issue #0, which was released in October 1994. The character wouldn’t make his full appearance until his return in Superboy vol. 3 Issue #9, which was released in Nov. 1994. Nanaue is the son of Chodrakha, the God of all Sharks. Later in the comics he became a member of several teams including the Secret Six, Society of Super-Villains, and the Suicide Squad.
