The official Dotemu Youtube channel has updated their official Youtube channel with a trailer for Streets of Rage 4.
The game will be developed by Dotemu with the help of Lizardcube, and Guard Crush Games. The Streets of Rage game franchise was developed by Sega. The first Streets of Rage game also known as Bare Knuckle in Japan was released for the Sega Genesis/ Sega Mega Drive in 1991. The latest title in the series, Streets of Rage 3, was released for the Sega Genesis/ Sega Mega Drive in 1994 so it has been some time since the last title in the series. The fourth title in the series was initially conceived for the Sega Saturn and Dreamcast, however both versions never end up being released.
The trailer features a look at two of the main characters Axel Stone and Blaze Fielding.

Featuring hand-drawn visuals from the team behind 2017’s gorgeous Wonder Boy: The Dragon’s Trap remake, Streets of Rage 4 builds upon the classic trilogy’s gameplay with new mechanics, a fresh story and a gauntlet of dangerous stages with a serious crime problem.
