Today’s review will have Super Sentai fans taking to the sky again as I, Wheelchair21, look at Super Mini-Pla Jet Garuda from Chōjin Sentai Jetman! For those unaware, Jetman is the 15 entry in the Super Sentai series preceding Kyoryu Sentai Zyuranger which was adapted in Power Rangers. Chōjin Sentai Jetman is loosely inspired and a tribute to Gatchaman with the team’s theme based on birds and jets. Now, this Super Mini-Pla release easily replicates the team’s secondary mecha, that they received from the Back Dimension Dimensian Soldiers. Jet Garuda is a large jet-to-robot mecha that was modified to be compatible with the other Jet Machines. Jet Garuda in jet mode can combine with Icarus Haiken to form the Hyper Haiken, which I accidentally called it Great Haiken in the video. Whereas, Jet Garuda in robot mode can combine with Jet Icarus to form Great Icarus. Overall, this mecha has four interesting forms which will be covered in this review.
