Earlier this evening, the Game Awards 2020 presentation was underway where they started off with a new character reveal for Super Smash Bros Ultimate. It was revealed that Sephiroth will be joining the roster as the third fighter in the second Fighters Pass and will be the ninth DLC fighter overall. With his inclusion, the roster for the game will raise to 78 fighters, For those who are not aware, Sephiroth is the main antagonist of Final Fantasy VII and also appeared in the Final Fantasy VII Remake. According to the trailer he will be available later this month, however no other details have been confirmed at this time.
