Bigbadtoystore has updated with official pre-orders for a new Classic Voltron release by Playmates Toys.  For those who are unaware these lions are based on the original Voltron: Defender of the Universe series. The official Playstation Youtube channel has updated with an announcement trailer for the DreamWorks Voltron VR Chronicles video game.  As the title suggests the game will be exclusive to the Playstation VR and will be based on the Netflix original series, “Voltron Legendary Defender.” DreamWorks Voltron VR Chronicles will be released on September 26. In DreamWorks Voltron VR Chronicles, become a Paladin of Voltron and experience a unique story created exclusively for VR. Dreamworks has posted a new trailer for season 3 of Voltron Legendary Defender on their official Youtube channel.   The latest trailer features a look at the events that will be featured in season 3.  Voltron Legendary Defender Season 3 will premiere exclusively on Netflix on August 4. Universal To Produce The Live Action Voltron Film

Deadline has confirmed that Universal is now in charge of the Live-Action Voltron film project.  The project will be scripted by David Hayter, the Guyver and voice of Solid Snake, who is also famous for being the script writer for the first two X-Men films and the Watchmen film.  Currently not much else is known about the project and it is unclear what direction the project will take since it stated to be an “inherited project.”  Stay tuned for updates.
