Bandai Namco Entertainment America and Bandai Namco Entertainment Europe have confirmed that they will be releasing the Nintendo Switch version of Sword Art Online: Hollow Realization. The game will first launch in Japan on April 25, 2019. The game will be released worldwide on May 24 and will be exclusively released digitally. The Nintendo Switch release will be the Deluxe Edition of the game, which will include all the DLC. Patrick Massett & John Zinman to Produce Live-Action Sword Art Online Series

The Hollywood Reporter has recently reported that Patrick Massett and John Zinman will serve as executive producers/ writers for the Sword Art Online live-action television series. Alongside Massett and Zinman, Laeta Kalogridis will also serve as an executive producer as well as being one of the head writers for the pilot episode of the series. Sword Art Online Live-Action Series Announced

It was recently announced by Skydance, an American independent production company, that they have acquired the global rights to produce a live-action series based on the popular Sword Art Online (SAO) franchise. The confirmed production team consists of Laeta Kalogridis who will serve as the script writer and executive producer.   She will be helped by David Ellison, Dana Goldberg and Marcy Ross.  Skydance Interactive is also producing the Sword Art Online VR experience.
