Shout Factory Licenses Kamen Rider Ryuki & Zero-One in North America

During the “Rider Week Kick Off Panel” presented by Team Kamen Rider, it was announced that two new Kamen Rider series will be joining the Tokushoutsu line-up later this year.   Shout Factory’s tokusatsu-based streaming platform launched last year with Kamen Rider (1971) as its first release. Then a few months later the platformed added Kamen Rider Kuuga (2000) to its library. Whereas, Kamen Rider Heisei Generations Forever (2018) was the first movie presented on the platform. Premium Bandai has updated their listings for newly announced November releases. Among these releases is S.H.Figuarts Dada from the Ultra Series. Alien Dada made its debut in episode 28 of the original Ultraman series. In the episode, Dada sought six humans for an unknown reason. Captain Mura discovers the plot, and alerts Hayata who turns into Ultraman to face the new foe. Last night, Tamashii Nations released the information for the next Ultraman related S.H.Figuarts. That next S.H.Figuarts is for Ancient Monster, Gomora!  Gomora original appeared in the original Ultraman series, and has been main a Kaiju in the franchise. S.H.Figuarts Gomora is based off his original debut in Episode 26, and Episode 27. The figure allows one to recreate the infamous battle it had with Ultraman. Netflix Announces Cyborg 009: Call of Justice Stream Date

Netflix has updated with the announcement that Cyborg 009: Call of Justice will be available on the service starting on February 10. Cyborg 009: Call of Justice was first announced to stream worldwide last December, however today the service has revealed the actual release date. The three part film series will be split into 12 episodes on Netflix. Netflix provided a short synopsis for the film series. Cyborg 009 Call of Justice Manga Adaptation Announced

It was recently announced by Comic Clear, a manga website owned by Kadokawa, that there will be a manga adaptation for the upcoming Cyborg 009 Call of Justice film. The manga will debut on the website on November 25 to coincide with the release of the first film.  The first chapter will launch on December 9 at 9 AM JST and will update with the following chapters on the second Friday of every month. The manga will be illustrated by Akhiro Kimura, which will be based on the scripts by Kenji Kamiyama, Ryou Higaki, Kurasumi Sunayama, and Harumi Doki.   Source: Comic Clear, ANN

The official Cyborg 009 website has recently updated with the announcement that Yui Makino will be joining the cast of the upcoming Cyborg 009 Call of Justice film.  She will be playing  Lieutenant Katarina Canetti in the film. ANN posted a short bio of the character. In the anime, Canetti is a cool, composed Lieutenant of the “Guardians,” the United Nations’ counter-terrorist special forces.
