Deadline has reported that Tyler Hoechlin and Brandon Routh will both be dawning the Superman costume in the upcoming CW Arrowverse crossover. While it is not surprising to see Hoechlin back as the Man of Steel since he has already made quite a few appearances within the Arrowverse, it is surprising to see Brandon Routh return in costume. Yesterday, Deadline reported that Ernie Hudson will be guest starring on Arrow as a “Four Star General of the DIA (Defense Intelligence Agency).” According to the character description provided by Deadline, he will be playing someone in Diggle’s past who will need to work with Team Arrow in hindsight of Diggle’s unresolved conflicts with him.
