Catwoman: Hunted Anime Film Announced

The Hollywood Reporter has announced that a new film based on the DC Comics character Catwoman is in the works at DC, Warner Bros. Animation, and Warner Bros. Home Entertainment. The film titled, “Catwoman: Hunted,” is set to release in early 2022. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the film will feature an “anime” style. The film will be directed by Shinsuke Terasawa and the script will be written by Greg Weisman. Ethan Spaulding and Colin A.B.V. Lewis have been hired as the producers on the project. Ewan McGregor in Talks to Play Black Mask in DC’s “Birds of Prey”

Variety has reported that Ewan McGregor is in talks to portray Black Mask in the upcoming DC Extended Universe film, “Birds of Prey.”    For those are not aware, the film will focus on the Huntress (Mary Elizabeth Windstead), Black Canary (Jurnee Smollett-Bell), and Harley Quinn (Margot Robbie) as they team-up to fight against Black Mask.
