Variety has reported that Alcon Television Group will be teaming up with Adult Swim and Crunchyroll to produce/ distribute an anime series that is inspired by “Blade Runner 2049.” The series will be titled, “Blade Runner- Black Lotus,” which is stated to consist of 13 half-hour episodes. Although details about the project are scarce at this time, it is said that series will be set in the year 2032 and will feature appearances of characters seen within the Blade Runner universe.
