Discotek Media Licenses Space Wolf Juspion & Message From Space: Galactic Wars

Today at Otakon, Discotek Media announced during their panel that they acquired the license for the fourth Metal Hero series, Space Wolf Juspion. For those unaware, the Metal Hero series are tokusatsu programs produced by Toei. In addition, a handful of these series were adapted in America by Saban Brand as VR Troopers and the Big Bad Beetleborgs. Warner Bros. Home Entertainment recently released the trailer for the Constantine: City of Demons home video release. Now, the home video releases bills the CW Seed series as Constantine: City of Demons the Movie, as it compiles series into a feature length film. Warner Brothers has announced that Batman: The Complete Animated Series will soon be released as a remastered Blu-ray release. For those who aren’t familiar with the series, Batman: The Animated Series was a series developed by Bruce Timm and Eric Radomski. Kraken Releasings Updates GARO: Makai Senkyu

Since the initial licensing for the series, Kraken Releasings has referred to the second GARO series as Makai Senkyu. However, recently product information on the upcoming Blu-Ray releases shows that Kraken Releasings decided to forgo the re-brand and stick to the original name, Makai Senki. Kamen Rider V3 Blu-Ray Release Announced

Toei Video has recently announced that they will be releasing the Kamen Rider V3 series on Blu-Ray.  For those who aren’t aware Kamen Rider V3 was the direct sequel to the original Kamen Rider series.  The series ran from  February 1973 – February 1974.  Kamen Rider V3 ran for 52 episodes and also had two films.  Kamen Rider V3 was also the only officially licensed Kamen Rider series in North America, which was released by JN Productions’ Generation Kikaida in 2001.  Those who are interested in the official DVD copy of the series can order via the Generation Kikaida official website.
