Drew Van Acker Joins DC Universe “Titans” as Aqualad

TVInsider has reported that Drew Van Acker will be joining the cast of the DC Universe Titans series as Garth aka Aqualad. For those who are not aware, the original version of Aqualad made his debut appearance in Adventure Comics issue #269, which was released in February 1960. The character was created by Robert Bernstein and Ramona Fradon. The character would later become Tempest in the second issue of his own comic miniseries of the same name. We have the trailer for the upcoming CW series Batwoman. I have to say it feels nice seeing Batman being mentioned in a CW show without them having to tip-toe around it. I am proud to see the CW is pulling from the Batwoman comics with keeping her origin intact. Right now there is no release date for this series outside of it airing this fall on Sunday’s. DC recently released the first teaser trailer for the upcoming Joker movie. The trailer features a look at the setting of the film and showcases Arthur Fleck (Joaquin Phoenix) as he lives his life as a comedian in Gotham city.
