BOOM! Studios has announced that they will be publishing a special one-shot comic, which will be apart of their Go Go Power Rangers comic series. The one-shot comic titled, “Go Go Power Rangers: Back to School,” will feature the team’s first long needed vacation ever since they received their Power Coins. iO9 has reported that IDW Publishing will be publishing a comic miniseries that features both Star Trek characters and the Transformers. The new crossover miniseries titled, “Star Trek vs. Transformers,” will feature the bridge crew on the U.S.S. Enterprise based on their appearances from Star Trek: The Animated Series, and the Transformers from The Transformers, aka Generation One.  For those who are unfamiliar with the series, Star Trek: The Animated Series was produced by Filmation and premiered in 1973. Happy Friday Heroes! Today we’ve learned that Dan Slott will be leaving the Amazing Spider-Man. I know I’m shocked and I’m certain Spider-Man fans are surprised too. Marvel’s Thrawn #1 Preview

The official Star Wars website has updated with an official preview for the first issue of Marvel’s Thrawn.  The comic will be a six issue series that will adapt Timonthy Zahn’s novel of the same name.  The first issue of Marvel’s Thrawn will be released on February 7, 2018 and will be written by Jody Houser with illustrations by Luke Ross. Marvel’s Thrawn will look deeper into Thrawn’s backstory before his time as the Grand Admiral and will also feature never before revealed events.   Source: Star Wars

Within the mix of the NYCC 2017 news, IDW Publishing announced the the release details for the upcoming Sonic the Hedgehog comic series. For those who are unaware the original main Sonic the Hedgehog comics series that was published Archie Comics finished it’s run on July 19 this year.  The series ran from November 22, 1992 – July 19, 2017 so it did have a long run.
