Dan Slott Leaving Amazing Spider-Man

Happy Friday Heroes! Today we’ve learned that Dan Slott will be leaving the Amazing Spider-Man. I know I’m shocked and I’m certain Spider-Man fans are surprised too. I mean Slott has been writing the main Spider-Man title since 2008 with Brand New Day and has put Peter on a roller coaster. From Superior Spider-Man, Spider Island, Spider-Verse, and so many other events that I can’t remember everything off the top of my head. The point being, he’s putting his web shooters down and leaving the series come June. That’s right The…

Valkyrie Coming to Marvel Comics’ Series Exiles

Happy Tuesday everyone! We have some good comic book news for fans of Thor Ragnarok. To begin, there is going to be an upcoming comic series called Exiles. Which is being drawn by Javier Rodriguez and written by Saladin Ahmed. That said the fifth member of this team is going to be Valkyrie from Thor Ragnarok. Well not quite, okay let me quote the Comicosity article that breaks this down. “Valkyrie’s a character who’s always appealed to me. Her iconic warrior-woman look — spear! sword! flying horse! — but also the…

Supergirl News: Mon-El Legion Costume

What’s going on heroes? Happy Tuesday, XBen3000 back and ready to talk some news for the new year. Anyways, we have the first look at Mon-El Legion costume and I hate to say it but it looks bland. Like I was expecting the red suit since in comics part of what a character stand out is the costume they wear but I understand since it would be cheaper to make similar looking costumes instead of having to make unique costumes for each characters. Especially if they’re going to be a Legion…

X-Men Red Team Reveal

Happy Monday heroes! Over the weekend I talked about Jean Grey leading her own team of X-Men and now we get to see who is on the roster for this upcoming team and I’m excited. Of course, we have Jean Grey leading the charge but they’re members I didn’t see coming. First off we have Gentle and Namor, both who haven’t been in action since Secret Wars I want to say. Gentle is from Wakanda and Namor is from Atlantis.  Next to bat is Nightcrawler and Gabby who will be…

Happy Saturday heroes, we’ve learned that with Jean Grey returning were going to be getting a new X-Men comic. In X-Men Red, the newly resurrected adult Jean Grey will lead a new team of X-Men, which, according to Marvel, will hinge on “new uniforms, a new team headquarters, and exciting new characters.” The creative team for this series…

Review: Fright Comics – Captives #1

What’s going on heroes? Today, we have a comic review on Captives #1 produced by Fright Comics. The series is written by Alexander Banchitta with Robert Ahmad penciling pages 1, 7-23. The inks for those pages were done by Dan Parsons. Whereas Vojislav Vasiljevic did the art for pages 2-7 along with the inside cover. The cover for this issue was done by Mike Dubisch. Finally, Fred D Stresing did the lettering.   To start off this may seem a bit different from what I usually read or review, but I enjoyed it. Captives…

Black Lightning: Cold Dead Hands Review

This will be a spoiler-free review of Black Lightning: Cold Dead Hands. So no need to worry about spoilers in this particular review. Alright, so we’re introduced to Black Lightning stopping a few criminals who call themselves “The Weathermen”. I have to say it’s interesting seeing Tony Isabella writing this character once again. I haven’t really read that much Black Lightning in terms of comics. I know he’s had a miniseries here and there during the New 52 but I wasn’t inclined to pick them up. Hearing Tony was going…
