Deathstroke’ Animated Series Announced for CW Seed

Deadline has reported that an animated series based on Deathstroke is currently in the works for CW Seed. The series was announced during a CW upfront presentation by CW Network president, Mark Pedowitz. In the comics Slade Joseph Wilson aka Deathstroke is a well known assassin. He first debuted in The New Teen Titans #2, which was released in December 1980. Warner Bros. Home Entertainment recently released the trailer for the Constantine: City of Demons home video release. Now, the home video releases bills the CW Seed series as Constantine: City of Demons the Movie, as it compiles series into a feature length film. Freedom Fighters: The Ray CW Seed Series Details Revealed

Fans of the CWverse should be pleased to see that another animated series is currently in the works. The CWSeed platform already received an animated series in the form of Vixen, although a new series will be joining it shortly in 2017.  The new series will feature the Ray as the star of Freedom Fighters: The Ray.   It was also hinted that a special announcement for Vixen will be announced soon as well.
