SDCC 2019: Batman Beyond Blu-Ray Remaster Set

Happy Thursday heroes! Today, we have some news coming out of San-Diego Comic-Con on a Batman Beyond Blu-Ray remaster set. To quote some information from IGN: Comprising 1,500 minutes of Batman Beyond across four discs, the set will also include 2 discs of bonus content including a remastered version of Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker and 15 featurettes about the series. Drew Van Acker Joins DC Universe “Titans” as Aqualad

TVInsider has reported that Drew Van Acker will be joining the cast of the DC Universe Titans series as Garth aka Aqualad. For those who are not aware, the original version of Aqualad made his debut appearance in Adventure Comics issue #269, which was released in February 1960. The character was created by Robert Bernstein and Ramona Fradon. The character would later become Tempest in the second issue of his own comic miniseries of the same name. DC Universe “Swamp Thing” Extended Trailer Streamed

The official DC Youtube channel has updated with a new extended trailer for DC Universe exclusive the Swamp Thing series. The trailer features a deeper look at the setting of the series and it is clear that James Wan was a pretty great choice as the main producer on this project. The Hollywood Reporter has reported that the production of the upcoming DC Universe exclusive “Swamp Thing” series has been halted. Originally 13 episodes were being produced for the first season of the series, however it has been revealed that the first season will be cut short to 10 episodes. The final episode of the first season is currently being altered to match the new episode count. The first episode of the series is still currently set for a May 31 premiere date.
