New JUMP Force Trailer Features the King of Games, Yugi Muto

Yesterday, Bandai Namco Entertainment America released an all-new character trailer for their upcoming game, JUMP FORCE; a fighting game that brings together the several manga series published under Shonen Jump. The trailer features the newest addition, Yugi Muto from the hit series Yu-Gi-Oh! Now, the game depicts Yugi as Yami Yugi otherwise known as the Egyptian Pharaoh Atem, and he will fight not with just physical skills, but his Duel Monsters skills. Funimation Entertainment Licenses Japanese Live-Action Death Note Films

Yesterday, Funimation Entertainment announced at Anime Weekend Atlanta that it licensed three of the four live-action Japanese Death Note films: Death Note, Death Note: The Last Name, and Death Note: Light Up the NEW World. Funimation will release the films on Blu-ray Disc, DVD, and Digital combo packs on January 22, 2019. The first two films which premiered in Japanese theaters in 2006 will be bundled together. SDCC 2017: Netflix San Diego Comic-Con Screening Announced

It has recently been revealed that the Netflix exclusive live-action Death Note film will be screened at San Diego Comic Con 2017.  The event will feature exclusive giveaways and pre-event Death Note themed activities. Adam Wingard, Nat Wolff, Margaret Qualley, Keith Stanfield, and Masi Oka will be attending the event. Daisuke Sakaguchi to portray Near in "Death Note: New Generation"

It was recently confirmed that the 42yr old voice actor Daisuke Sakaguchi will be portraying the successor of L, Near, in the upcoming three-part web drama “Death Note: New Generation”. He was recently heard during a short phone conversation during the second part of the series “Chapter Ryuzaku: Last Wishes”.
