Polygon Pictures has announced that they will be producing the upcoming Star Wars Resistance animated series. For those who are unaware, the series is next animated project based on the Star Wars brand. The official Star Wars website has announced release details for Star Wars Rebels: The Complete Fourth Season.  Seeing as the fourth season finished its run earlier this Spring it is nice to see that the entire series will soon be available on home video. The official Star Wars website has updated with the announcement for the next animated project based on the Star Wars franchise.  The new series will be titled, “Star Wars Resistance,” which is set to premiere on the Disney Channel in the U.S. and on Disney XD worldwide this Fall. Star Wars Resistance is stated to be “anime-inspired” so it will differ from the various animated series based on the franchise.
