Star Wars Han Solo Film Official Title Revealed

The official Star Wars website has updated with the reveal of the upcoming Han Solo standalone film.  The title for the film will officially be called Solo: A Star Wars Story.   This announcement is not all too surprising since it matches the title style seen for Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.    Director Ron Howard also posted a special message about the film on his official twitter page. Warrick Davis Joins Han Solo Standalone Film Cast

Lucasfilm has recently announced the Ron Howard will be taking directorial duties for the Han Solo standalone film. Animated Deadpool Series Announced

Variety has reported that a new animated Deadpool series has been green-lit.  The series will debut on FXX in 2018 and the first season will run for 10 episodes.  Unlike most of the standard TV animated series by Marvel, the Deadpool animated series is targeted towards adults so expect more insane action. Donald Glover and Stephen Glover will be working as the showrunners / executive producers and writers for the series.  Jeph Loeb from Marvel along with Jim Chory will be the executive producers on the project. The official Star Wars website has updated with the first look at the cast of the upcoming Han Solo standalone film.  Filming for the movie has started at the Pinewood Studios in London.  It has also been confirmed that Phoebe Waller-Bridge and Thandie Newton have joined the cast of the film.
