Mark Hamill & Ron Perlman Join Transformers: Power of the Primes Animated Series

The Hollywood Reporter has recently reported that Mark Hamill and Ron Perlman have joined the team of the upcoming Transformers: Power of the Primes animated series. Mark Hamill will be voicing the first Decepticon, Megatronus, who was exiled from Cybertron for killing one of the original Thirteen Primes. Megatronus will be playing a key role in the finale of Machinama’s animated projects based on the Transformers franchise. Alongside Hamill, Ron Perlman will be voicing Optimus Primal and he will be joined by other actors including Mike Way, Jamie King, and Gregg Berger. Variety has reported some new casting details about the upcoming Transformers: Titan Returns animated series. Peter Cullen will be reprising his role as Optimus Prime and he will be joined by Wil Wheaton, Judd Nelson, Michael Dorn, and Jason David Frank. Jon Bailey originally voiced Optimus Prime in Transformers: Combiner Wars so it will be interesting to see Peter Cullen return as the character alongside Judd Nelson. The official Transformers Facebook page has recently updated with the first promo video for the upcoming Transformers: Combiner Wars cartoon series.
