Garo: Vanishing Line Second Cour Visual Revealed

The official Garo website has updated with a new visual for the second cour for the Garo: Vanishing Line anime series. The second cour will premiere on January 12, which will follow up after the premiere of the “Pause” episode that will air on January 5.  The second cour will feature a brand new intro sequence titled, “Howling Sword,” by Shusei Kita and a new ending theme titled, “Promise,” which will be performed by Chihiro Yonekura. Kraken Licenses Garo: Red Requiem Live-Action Film Release

Section23 Films has announced that Kraken Releasing will be releasing the Garo: Red Requiem (Kiba ~Ankoku Kishi Gaiden~) film on Blu-Ray on April 10, 2018.  For those who haven’t been following the Garo franchise, Garo: Red Requiem premiered in Japan on October 30, 2010.  The film featured the return of Ryosei Konishi who once again portrays Kouga Saejima/GARO.  The film also introduced some new characters such as Mary Matsuyama as Rekka, and Mika Hijii as the voice of Karma. Mika Hijii portrayed Kaoru in the original series, however she played a new role for the film.   Kraken Releasing provided a synopsis for the film. Garo: Crimson Moon Anime Film Announced

The official Garo website has announced that a film for the Garo: Crimson Moon anime series. Currently no other details are confirmed at this time due to the project being early in development.  For those who are unaware, Garo: Crimson Moon is the second anime series based on the Garo Tokusatsu franchise.  The series premiered in 2015 and was licensed by Funimation Entertainment in North America for both home video and for streaming. Section23 Films has recently announced that they have licensed the Garo: Kiba -The Dark Knight!
