The official Garo franchise blog has updated with the cast members and premiere date for the Garo Kaminokiba -JINGA-  live-action series. The cast includes: Masahiro Inoue: Jinga Mikage Yūka Kōri: Fūsa Sōshi Hagiwara: Tōma Mikage Miyavi Matsunoi: Alva Satomi Andō: Koyuri Mikage Koh Takasugi: Rozan Shigemitsu Ogi: Yōyū Tōru Kazama: Mizuto Mikage The series is set to premiere in Japan this October, but no exact date has been confirmed at this time. Kraken Releasings Updates GARO: Makai Senkyu

Since the initial licensing for the series, Kraken Releasings has referred to the second GARO series as Makai Senkyu. However, recently product information on the upcoming Blu-Ray releases shows that Kraken Releasings decided to forgo the re-brand and stick to the original name, Makai Senki. Some fans assume the change is due to the possible confusion with the word Senkyu, or general feedback from fans/ consumers. Official Images: S.H.Figuarts Shinkocchou Seihou Silver Knight Zero

Premium Bandai updated its website with the next Shinkocchou Seihou in the S.H.Figuarts line; it is none other than the Silver Knight Zero from GARO! Zero is second Makai Armor introduced in the original GARO series, and belongs to Rei Suzumura (portrayed by Ray Fujita). Early on Rei is made to believe Seizema Kouga/ GARO murdered his family, but it is apart of plot created by their true enemy. The official Garo website has updated with some minor details for the upcoming live-action series based on the franchise. The next series titled, Garo: Kaminokiba -JINGA-, is set to premiere this year, although no exact premiere details has been revealed. The official website also revealed a new official visual for the series, which features Masahiro Inoue’s character Jinga. The series is a spin-off of the Garo: Divine Fang (GARO: Kami no Kiba) film, which premiered in Japan on January 6. Kraken Releasings’ Licenses GARO: Makai Senkyu

Sentai Filmworks has recently confirmed they have now licensed the second GARO television series, Makai Senkyu (originally referred to as Makai Senki). The confirmation came via the site’s store featuring the pre-order for the first Blu-Ray collection set for this series. Kraken Releasing Licenses Garo Special: Beast of the Demon Night

Garo: Vanishing Line Second Cour Visual Revealed

The official Garo website has updated with a new visual for the second cour for the Garo: Vanishing Line anime series. The second cour will premiere on January 12, which will follow up after the premiere of the “Pause” episode that will air on January 5.  The second cour will feature a brand new intro sequence titled, “Howling Sword,” by Shusei Kita and a new ending theme titled, “Promise,” which will be performed by Chihiro Yonekura.
