Funimation Acquires Attack on Titan Season 3 & Japanese Premiere Date Announced

On Friday, Pony Canyon began streaming an all-new trailer for the upcoming season of Attack on Titan. This new trailer for the third season revealed its Japanese premiere is July 22 at 12:45 a.m. on NHK. Short afterwards, Funimation Entertainment officially announced they acquired the rights to distribute and dub the season. Sunrise recently revealed that they will be publishing a new Gundam novel set after the events of Gundam UC 0096 titled “Mobile Suit Gundam: Twilight Axis” in their new Light Novel Imprint publication Yatate Bunko. It was recently confirmed that the 42yr old voice actor Daisuke Sakaguchi will be portraying the successor of L, Near, in the upcoming three-part web drama “Death Note: New Generation”.
