Deadline has reported that Kaley Cuoco will be voicing Harley Quinn in the upcoming animated series that will be released exclusively on DC Universe. Warner Brothers also provided a trailer for the series, which features Harley Quinn and Poison Ivy. Jurnee Smollett-Bell & Mary Elizabeth Winstead Joins Birds of Prey Cast

Variety has reported that Jurnee Smollett-Bell and Mary Elizabeth Windstead will be joining the cast of Birds of Prey. For those who are not aware, the film is a live-action adaptation of the Birds of Prey comic series and will be produced by Margot Robbie. Margot Robbie portrayed Harley Quinn in the 2016 Suicide Squad film and will reprise her role in Birds of Prey. Smollett-Bell will be playing Black Canary, while Windstead will be portraying Huntress. Derek Mears to Portray DC Universe’s Swamp Thing

Several news outlets are reporting that Derek Mears is going to be portraying Swamp Thing in suit for the upcoming live-action series. For those who are not aware, Mears is most famous for starring as Jason Voorhees in the 2009 reboot of Friday the 13th. He has also portrayed the “classic” Predator in the 2010 Predators film and has previously worked in other live-action comic adaptions in the past. Len Wiseman to Direct DC Universe “Swamp Thing” Pilot

Deadline has reported that Len Wiseman will be working double shifts as the executive producer and director for the first episode of the live-action Swamp Thing series.  For those who have not been keeping up to date, the series is going to be a part of the live-action series line-up on the upcoming DC Universe streaming service. Mattel DC Multiverse SDCC 2018 Reveals [Updated]

[UPDATE 7/21/2018] Thanks to a new video by Dan Eardley aka Pixel Dan, who also moderated the DC Multiverse panel, we now have some clearer information for the upcoming waves of figures from Mattel.  Starting with the Aquaman movie wave, the Collect and Connect wave actually contains four figures instead of five. Batman Ninja Manga Adaptation Announced

ANN has recently reported that the Batman Ninja film will be receiving a manga adaptation by Masato Hisa.  The manga will be published in the July issue of the Monthly Hero magazine in Japan this Friday.  For those who are unaware the manga is based on the direct to home video Batman Ninja animated film that was released on May 8. After the initial announcement last year, details have been scarce for the upcoming DC Entertainment streaming service. Today DC finally revealed the first details about the service. Cathy Yan to Direct Harley Quinn Spinoff Film

Several new outlets have reported that Cathy Yan is set to direct the next DC spinoff film, which will focus on Harley Quinn.  The film will be based on the Birds of the Prey comic series and Margot Robbie will return to reprise the titular role. Batman Ninja English Dub Trailer Streamed

Warner Brothers has recently updated their Warner Bros. Home Entertainment Youtube channel with a new trailer for the upcoming DC animated film titled, “Batman Ninja.”  The latest trailer features a look at the English Dub for the film.  Batman Ninja will be released digitally on April 24.  The film will later be released on Blu-ray (Steelbook), Blu-ray Combo Pack, and DVD on May 8.
