Henry Gayden Returning to Write ‘Shazam’ Sequel

The Wrap has reported that Henry Gayden will be returning to write the screenplay for the sequel for DC’s Shazam. It has also been reported that David F. Sandberg and Peter Safran will also be returning for the sequel. Variety has reported that Asher Angel will be portraying Billy Batson in DC’s Shazam. For those unaware, Billy Batson is the alter ego of Shazam. By calling out the word “Shazam!”, lightning strikes him changing him into the Earth’s Mightest Mortal.
