Funimation to Release Cowboy Bebop the Movie in North American Theaters

Funimation Films has announced that they will be releasing Cowboy Bebop the Movie in North American theaters. For those who are unaware, Cowboy Bebop the Movie was originally released in Japanese theaters under the name, Cowboy Bebop: Knockin’ on Heaven’s Door on September 1, 2001. Whereas, it was originally released in North American theaters on August 11, 2002. New York Comic Con to Host Cowboy Bebop Writer & Designers

Yesterday, Funimation Entertainment announced that it will be bringing screenwriter Keiko Nobumoto, character designer Toshihiro Kawamoto, and mechanical designer Kimitoshi Yamane to New York Comic Con. They will be attending as guests to appear at the Cowboy Bebop 20th Anniversary retrospective panel. In addition, Funimation is hosting a contest to win a dinner with all three staff members. Funimation Announces Cowboy Bebop 20th Anniversary Collector’s Edition Concepts Campaign

Funimation Entertainment has announced details for a special campaign for the Cowboy Bebop 20th Anniversary Collector’s Edition.  Funimation Entertainment provided a promotional video for the campaign on their official Facebook page. The promotional video is narrated by Beau Billingslea aka Jet Black. Fans will be able to chose between three different tiers that will include different bonuses depending on which version are backed.
