Recently, Discotek Media announced at their Otakon 2022 panel that they will be distributing another Metal Hero series on Blu-Ray. Now, this time the company will be distributing the original Metal Hero series, Space Sheriff Gavan! For those unaware, the entire Metal Hero franchise began with this show in 1982 and it consisted of 44-episodes. The official website for the Space Sheriff Gavan Vs. Dekaranger film has recently updated with the reveal of some new cast members. Tamashii Lab: Space Sheriff Gavan Laser Blade Promo Streamed

Bandai Tamashii has recently updated their official Youtube channel with the preview for the upcoming Tamashii Lab: Space Sheriff Gavan Laser Blade. The promo features the first full look of the toy in action as well as revealing that the blade has a IR sensor, which will allow the user to help recreate Gavan’s famous Gavan Dynamic Attack.  By pressing the button on the hilt of the blade it make attack sounds with their associated in show phrases and also play sound BGMs. The promo features Kenji Ohba demonstrated the effects of the toy.   The item will be released…

Tamashii Lab Previews Space Sheriff Gavan's Laser Blade

Following the Super Gun from Ultraman, Tamashii Lab’s next item to be released is the Laser Blade from Space Sheriff Gavan. The weapon is Gavan’s signature weapon, and will be recreated as 1:1 scale replica. The weapon’s stand will be in the form of hands, feature led lights, five variations of sound effects and three background tracks from the show.
