Variety has reported that Daniela Melchior is set to portray Ratcatcher in “The Suicide Squad.” She will be joining the previously announced cast members, which includes David Dastmalchian (Polka-Dot Man), Idris Elba, Margot Robbie (Harley Quinn), Jai Courtney (Captain Boomerang), and potentially John Cena.  In the comics, Otis Flannegan aka Ratcatcher debuted in Detective Comics #585, which was released in April 1988. The Hollywood Reporter has reported that David Dastmalchian is joining the cast of The Suicide Squad as Polka-Dot Man. David has in been in several live-action adaptations of comic book movies such as Thomas Schiff in The Dark Knight and more recently as Kurt in both the MCU Ant-Man films.
