Naruto Shinden TV Anime Adaptation Announced

The recent issue of the weekly Shonen Jump magazine has announced that Naruto The New Legend of Naruto (Naruto Shinden) novel will be receiving an anime adaptation. The anime will premiere on Sunday, February 20 in Japan and will air for three weeks. Currently it is unknown if the anime will be apart of the Boruto: Naruto Next Generations anime’s run. Naruto to Receive Three New Novel Series

The official Jump J books website has updated with an announcement that the Naruto franchise will be receiving a three-book novel series. The first novel will be titled, “The Naruto Shinden (The New Legend of Naruto),” will be released on May 2 in Japan. The other novels titled, “Sasuke Shinden (The New Legend of Sasuke),” “Shikamaru Shinden (The New Legend of Shikamaru),” will be released at a later date. Viz Media has posted a Dub trailer for Boruto Naruto the Movie on their official Youtube channel.  The trailer features the voice talents of Amanda Miller (Boruto) , Cherami Leigh (Sarada), and Robbie Daymond (Mitsuki).The film will be released on DVD and Blu-ray on March 28.   With Naruto as the Seventh Hokage, Hidden Leaf Village is planning to host the Chunin Exams to train new shinobi from the village and from their allied villages. Jump Festa 2016: Boruto – Naruto Next Generations Anime Series Announced

It was recently announced that , the Naruto spin off manga series “, Boruto- Naruto Next Generations,”  will be receiving an anime adaptation.  The news debuted during the Naruto X Boruto super stage event at this year’s Jump Festa. The series will produced by Studio Pierrot and is announced to premiere next April.   Several of the Naruto voice actors and actresses from the series including Yuuko Sanpei (Boruto), Kokoro Kikuchi (Sarada Uchiha),  Ryuichi Kijima (Mitsuki),  and Junko Takeuchi (Naruto) attended the event.  Masashi Kishimoto, the creator of the franchise, also made an appearance at the event.
