Ed Brubaker to Write “Batman: Caped Crusader”

The Hollywood Reporter has reported that Ed Brubaker has been hired as the head writer for “Batman: Caped Crusader.” For those who are not aware, the series was first announced in 2019. Also reported earlier, the series will be executive produced by Bruce Timm, J.J. Abrams, and Matt Reeves. James Tucker was also confirmed as the co-executive producer. Deadline has reported that Warner Bros. is producing a new series based on Batman is in the works titled, “Batman: Caped Crusader.” The series will be executive produced by Bruce Timm, J.J. Variety has reported that Robert Pattinson (Twilight) is in talks to play Batman in Matt Reeve’s upcoming film based on the character.  Matt Reeves will be directing the film and he will also be producing the film alongside Dylan Clark.
