The official Mazinger Z anime film website has updated with the premiere date details for the upcoming anime film. The film will premiere in Japan on January 13, 2018.  For those who are unaware the film’s story will be set as a sequel to the original Mazinger anime series. Recently a new teaser trailer for the upcoming Mazinger Z animated film was shown during the Annecy Film Festival earlier this week. The trailer reveals that the film will feature a combination of 3D models with 2D line art. Earlier today, Toei Animation that Go Nagai’s popular giant robot manga series, Mazinger Z, will be receiving a new movie adaptation.
