Deadline has reported that Iman Vellani has been cast as the main role in Marvel’s Ms. Marvel. The character will be making a debut in the upcoming series that will streamed exclusively on Disney+ with future appearances planned in upcoming Marvel Cinematic Universe related projects. The original “Ms. Marvel” aka Carol Danvers made her debut appearance in 1976. Marvel Finds Head Writers for She-Hulk and Moon Knight

Happy Friday heroes! We have some Marvel news on the Disney + forefront. Both She-Hulk and Moon Knight have found their head writers respectively. Jessica Gao, known for winning a Emmy for the episode of Rick and Morty titled “Pickle Rick” will be the lead of the writing team for She-Hulk. Meanwhile Jeremy Slater, who recently wrote the Netflix comic book adaptation for Umbrella Academy is set to lead the writing team for Moon Knight. Marvel’s Avengers: Kamala Khan Trailer

We have a trailer for Marvel’s Avengers, an upcoming console and PC game that focuses on Kamala Khan. It made its debut earlier today at NYCC, and I have to say it is a solid introduction for the character. One of the things I appreciate that this game is doing is that it is making Advanced Idea Mechanics out to be a “big bad” which is nice for a change. Marvel Entertainment is currently holding their presentation at D23 2019. During their presentation they unveiled several new live-action series based on various Marvel properties that will be released exclusively on the Disney+ streaming. Earlier today it was reported that a show based on Ms. Marvel was in the works, however two more shows were recently revealed. Marvel Entertainment has announced that two more Marvel Rising specials will soon be released. For those who are not aware, Marvel Rising was originally a series of shorts under the name “Marvel Rising: Initiation.” The shorts were later followed up by a TV film titled, ““Marvel Rising: Secret Warriors,” which aired over the weekend.
