“Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” CG Reboot Film In the Works

Deadline has reported that a new CG animated film reboot is currently in the works. It is said that Nickelodeon is teaming up with Point Grey Pictures’ Seth Rogen, Evan Goldberg and James Weaver to produce the produce the film. Jeff Rowe will be working on the screenplay for the film with Paramount Pictures working to distribute the film globally. Ramsey Naito, Nick’s EVP of Animation Production and Development, will be overseeing the project for Nickelodeon, while Josh Fargen will oversee Point Grey Pictures’ production side. Super7 recently updated their official website with official images of the first wave of the upcoming Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Ultimate Figures. For those who are not aware, Super7 will be releasing a 7 inch collectors line based on the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, specifically their original vintage toy designs that were released by Playmates Toys in the 80s. Recently the first trailer for Batman VS. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles was released online. For those who are not aware, the film is an upcoming animated film based on the Batman vs. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles comic miniseries. SDCC 2017: NECA Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles SDCC Exclusive Set Revealed

NECA has recently revealed one of their exclusives at San Diego Comic Con 2017.   Similar to the previous couple of years, NECA will be offering a special box set of figures based on the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Unlike the previous box sets the latest version will feature the characters in the original 80s cartoon appearance. NYTF 2017: Bluefin S.H.Figuarts Displays

Toyark has recently begun posting photos from the Bluefin booth at this year’s New York Toy Fair. The first set of photos feature a look at the finalized version of  S.H.Figuarts Shredder.   Although it doesn’t seem that Bluefin has announced any other new S.H.Figuarts releases based on the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles at this time, it is nice to see what the Shredder will most likely look like when he finally releases.
